Designed for exceptional strength and maneuverability, the XCMG XCR90 rough terrain crane delivers a maximum rated lifting capacity of 90 tons and a maximum lifting height of 63.1 meters. The lifting system features a U-shape boom with one basic and four telescoping sections that extend from 12.4 meters to 48 meters. This is complemented by a two section lattice structure jib ranging from 10.5 meters to 17.5 meters. This jib can be installed at 0 degree, 15 degree, and 30 degree offset angles to accommodate complex lifting tasks.

Power and control are at the core of the XCR90. It is equipped with a robust, six cylinder water cooled diesel engine, compliant with off road EU Stage IIIA emissions standards. The crane is paired with a ZF Germany automatic transmission offering six forward gears and three reverse gears. For superior navigation, the machine is equipped with four specialized off road tires and features four versatile steering modes: front axle independent, tight turning radius, crab walk, and rear axle independent steering.

Safety and operator comfort are fully integrated into the design. The crane includes a tiltable cab with safety glass, a Load Moment Indicator (LMI), hydraulic balance valves, and an anti-two block system on the boom head to prevent rope over-winding. The chassis utilizes a large cross section welded frame and a double circuit hydraulic disc brake system for enhanced stability and precise operation under heavy loads.
