Engineered for impressive reach and strong lifting capabilities, the SANY STC 500 truck crane delivers a maximum rated lifting capacity of 50 tons and achieves a maximum lifting height of 60 meters when utilizing the 16 meter jib extension. The lifting system features a five section partially synchronized main boom that extends from 11.5 meters to 42.5 meters. This telescopic mechanism is assisted by two cylinders and sheaves to ensure smooth and precise operation.

Powering the crane is a durable Dongfeng Cummins ISLe 340 30 engine, providing a rated power of 250 kW at 2100 rpm. This engine is paired with a 9 speed synchronizer gearbox and a four axle chassis configuration, where axles 1 and 2 handle steering while axles 3 and 4 serve as the driving axles. The machine maintains exceptional stability during heavy lifts using an H form outrigger arrangement, which features fully hydraulic control for both horizontal and vertical extension.

Safety and operator comfort are prioritized throughout the STC 500 design. The superstructure cab is fabricated from corrosion resistant steel and features adjustable seating, while the driver’s cab offers a pneumatically sprung seat, wide visibility, and windscreen defroster fans. For secure lifting operations, the crane is equipped with a colorful LCD screen that integrates critical real time data, including hook load, rated load, boom length, boom angle, and lifting height, combined with built in safety limit parameters.
